STEP 6. Create Adsense Website - Add adsense code to your template
We will now add the adsense code to the template. We will add a standard 336x280block of code at the top of each page. This is one of the more successful "code block" styles. Done correctly, it blends nicely with your page and almost looks like a navigation menu.
This step is very simple - but - assumes you are already signed up with google adsense and know how to "grab" the "code block" from your google adsense account.
That being said lets get started...
Step 1. Open inc-adsense.asp
- Navigate to C\:your-folder-name\inc-adsense.asp
- Right mouse click on the file - open with notepad
Step 2. Add adsense code
With notepad open displaying the code for inc-adsense.asp see the open and closed paragraph tags:
<p> </p>
Paste the adsense code in between the <p> </p> tags
inc-adsense.asp should look like this:
Step 3 . Save inc-adsense.asp
Now, save inc-adsense.asp in your web folder on your C:\ drive.
Now you have a fully functioning adsense code block that will display 3-4 relevant ads as soon as you upload your website.
